Innovation and Excellence
One of the goals of BHO is to capture and share examples of excellence and innovation identified at organizations reviewed through BHO.
Innovation can occur at any time in the life of an organization - when it moves in a new and bold direction, when it explores new solutions or approaches, when it implements an idea in a whole new way, or when the right people are brought together at the right time to deal with the right issue.
Excellence is when an organization performs to the best of its ability and to the top of the field in a particular approach, program or service. Excellence often occurs when an organization works through development stages, puts systems and practices in place, builds in refinements and makes improvements until specific programs and strategies are superbly matched to the needs of the client, community or organization.
